Peter Kreitals

25+ Years Shaping Government Grant Policy and Securing Funding Outcomes
Peter brings a rare combination of policy insight and hands-on advisory experience to government grant funding. Early in his career, Peter worked in the Federal Government for 10 years, firstly helping develop various industry programs and then protecting those programs in the international arena as the Director of the Multilateral Trade Negotiations Section in the Industry Department.
Peter subsequently drew on this experience as the Executive Director of the Australian TCF Association, working directly with the Commonwealth Government to help develop the $1.5 billion TCF Strategic Investment Program, further enhancing his understanding of policy-making in Australia and why grant programs are designed the way they are.
For more than 25 years since, Peter has applied that insight as a consultant, helping clients secure funding through successive generations of government programs, from legacy schemes like the TCF Strategic Investment Program through to today’s R&D Tax Incentive and Export Market Development Grant. His high-level relationships across government, industry associations, and business give him a rare ability to read where policy is heading next, and position clients ahead of it.

Ross Macindoe

15+ Years Managing Government Grant Programs for Small Business
Ross brings an inside perspective on how government supports small businesses, having spent years managing grant programs specifically targeted at the small business sector, plus a stint managing the R&D Tax Incentive. Before that, he facilitated offshore investment into Australia’s biotechnology and medical devices sectors, promoting capital flows from China and Japan. That combination gives him first-hand insight into how eligibility is actually interpreted, what compliance expectations look like in practice, and what separates a strong application from one that draws a closer look.
Since moving into advisory, Ross has used that perspective to help clients fund innovative products and processes, clarifying the drivers of what makes a competitive argument, and a successful application. As Principal Consultant, his technical program knowledge and pragmatic approach to complex projects mean small business clients get a strategy built on how these programs are actually assessed, not just how the guidelines read.

Ves spent over a decade inside government, leading teams responsible for delivering flagship grant programs across the Automotive, Textile Clothing & Footwear (TCF), and Manufacturing sectors, collectively worth more than $500 million. That experience gives him a rare vantage point: he has sat inside the assessment and delivery process he now helps clients navigate, understanding first-hand how applications move through the system and what separates smooth approval from a stalled one.
Ves combines that leadership with strong skills in business evaluation, financial analysis, data analytics, process improvement, and contract negotiation, helping founders and business owners craft applications and compliance frameworks that hold up to genuine government scrutiny, not just look good on paper.
